1. Purpose

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Perch ("Company") and users regarding the companion-bird health management service.

2. Service Scope

The Company provides the following features:

  • Pet-bird health data recording and management
  • BHI (Bird Health Index) scoring and visualization
  • Analysis based on weight, food, and water data
  • Consultation features powered by the Perch-designed and operated AI model service

3. Account and Login

Users may access the service through email login or social login.

  • Social login providers: Google, Apple, Kakao
  • Users must provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure.

4. User Obligations

Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and service policies.

  • No impersonation or unauthorized use of other users' personal data or accounts
  • No unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial reuse of service information
  • No abnormal access, automation abuse, or behavior that disrupts service operations

5. Service Changes and Suspension

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the service when operationally necessary.

Material changes will be announced in advance, and separate consent will be obtained where required by law.

6. Health Information and Limitation of Liability

Health analysis and AI consultation content is general reference information and does not replace professional veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

Users remain responsible for final decisions, and the Company is not liable for user decisions except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

7. Privacy and Third-Party Services

Collection, use, retention, sharing, and entrusted processing of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy.

The Company may use Google Analytics and Google/Apple/Kakao login services for service operation.

8. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights in the service and related content belong to the Company or legitimate rightsholders.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to Korean courts.

10. Effect and Amendments

The Company may amend these Terms within legal limits. If amended, the effective date and reasons will be announced.
